Book Description From the play: "Bent on Willie Mays"
Sixteen short plays for Christian youth. Most are comedy and one is directly related to Christmas.

Each scene illustrates a Bible verse. All require a cast of two to five actors and most can be performed in about five to eight minutes.

These plays give teens the opportunity to share their faith with both Christian and non-Christian teens. High school and middle school students will enjoy the action and reaction required by these scenes.  There's nothing corny here.

All of these sketches have been tested by teenagers and used in live performance before our home church, Valley Springs Church in Roseville, California.  These scenes are suitable for use in church, youth groups, or any other Christian youth function.

Published in a format that's easily understood by both the experienced theater person and the novice, the director notes, prop lists, and stage diagrams ensure it will successfully get the story from the page to the stage.

Editorial Reviews
"Perfect! Just what a drama leader looks for!"
Carolyn Kellar, Drama Teacher, Forest Lake Christian School

"This small yet very satisfying book and is a must have for any church or community youth group, as an easy to read, and available play/skit book directed toward young teens. Each one-act play is well written and concise. Compelling dialog written by author Morris can bring a smile to your face while making you think at the same time. You can’t go wrong with this one."
Diane Sewell, Denise’s Pieces Book Reviews

About the Author From the play: "Cruel and Unusual Punishment"

Brian Lee Morris resides in Auburn, a small town in northeastern California.  His playwriting began as an assignment given by his church to provide their young Christians with short relevant dramas that would communicate the Bible's truth through life situations the teens would find believable.

"It's my desire to produce a playbook illustrating Bible truths as seen through the lives of teenagers and to demonstrate the Bible is relevant for people of all ages.  You won't find anything cheesy or preachy here.  It's all real with a dose of humor added throughout."
