SIERRA FOOTHILL POETRY CONTEST 2008 Finalists Announced!   It's been a long and difficult year for Singing Tree Press and the poetry contest.  With the great help of PlacerArts, the arts council for Placer County, we are hoping to keep the event alive for another year. Sadly, we could not produce this year our normally annual paperback, Little Town USA.  Our plan at this point:  produce the next poetry anthology in 2009 and include the finalists and winners from both 2008 and 2009 within its covers. I appreciate your patience and your support.  Contact me anytime if you would like to discuss the matter.  Below you will find a list of 2008 finalists.  We are holding back on announcing the grand prize winners until we can have a proper celebration and gathering.
